ICRC Special Lecture (Dr. Yi Qian from Macquarie University, Australia)

Dr. Yi Qian from Biomedical Engineering Department, Macquarie University is currently visiting Liu Lab. On May 31, he gave a very inspiring special lecture as a part of the ICRC (Shanghai Jiao Tong university Chiba University International Cooperative Research Center) Seminar Series . His talk included the medical device development (Pulsatile LVAD), the cardiovascular hemodynamic simulation (Fontan operation), the cerebrovascular hemodynamic simulation (Energy loss, divWSS in cerebral aneurysm), the treatment for cerebral aneurysm (stent delivery, etc). The interdiscplinary research is a growing research area, which brings doctors and engineers together. It offers a better future in the medical field.
